TICKET SALES POLICY

Tickets purchased online reserve seats for the performance specified up to 10 minutes before curtain. If the guest does not appear at the box office 10 minutes prior to show, the ticket fee is considered a donation and that seat (those seats) may be sold to guests on the waiting list, or waiting in the lobby.

CONVENIENCE/ORDER FEES

The systems needed in order for you to be able to purchase a ticket from the comfort of your home are costly for us to establish and maintain. “Convenience” means exactly that. We save you the time, trouble, and expense of having to get in your car and come to us to purchase your tickets in advance. We make it possible for you to do this 24/7, but it is not without costs which we, like every other professional venue, must pass on to you, our patrons. The $5 Convenience Fee is competitive with other nonprofit venues in our region, and includes the percentage and volume charges credit card providers charge Stage Notes Academy of Performing Arts.

FACILITY SURCHARGES

Stage Notes Academy of Performing Arts reserves the right to add Facility Surcharges as needed to support the upkeep of the venue and pay utilities.

OUR POLICY

We are a nonprofit organization. We strive to provide low cost educational opportunities as well as low cost ticket prices to our patrons in hopes of providing the community with exposure to the arts and arts education. We do, however still need to pay the bills. As our business grows, we hope to employ more teachers, offer more classes and programs, and offer an ever growing variety of theater and performing arts related classes, workshops, camps, etc. We also hope our success leads to the ability to create another theater venue for musicals and plays in which all ages may participate. As we grow and expenses increase, we may increase prices.

For children’s educational performance classes, there is a fee to participate.

For adult performances, there will not be a participation fee. At adult performances, we will “pass the hat” to take contributions for the purpose of reimbursing the actors and crew for the time and sacrifices they have made to participate int he production.

All participants in any class, workshop, camp, or performance of any kind are expected to abide by the Stage Notes Academy of Performing Arts Rules and Expectations.

RULES AND EXPECTATIONS

All participants are expected to encourage and promote a safe, welcoming environment where anyone can participate and expect to be treated with respect.

All participants are expected to speak to the instructor or director if at anytime they feel unsafe. Any incidents of inappropriate speech or behavior should be reported to the instructor or director immediately, and not discussed with other students / actors to prevent gossip and a negative environment.

All participants will demonstrate and encourage positive and appropriate speech and a positive attitude to promote a healthy and welcoming environment.

All participants agree to be present and on time for classes and rehearsals (or call if they will be late), be actively engaged during classes / rehearsals, and learn the material in a timely manner.

All participants understand that all productions are a team effort and they agree to help with “backstage” and set duties as needed.

All participants understand that the building(s) we use are sometimes "borrowed space" and agree to help keep any facilities clean and in good condition.

All participants agree to wear appropriate clothing for dancing that allows movement and is also family friendly (not too revealing, no obscene graphics or language).

All participants agree to wear appropriate shoes for dancing or for the character they portray to prevent injury.
